EX-02

Theme: Dream
11 February 2014

Dream can also be defined as an aspiration; goal; aim. In my drawing, I wanted to show that a dream is something that can be achieved with hard work. I've watched a documentary film about an olympic figure skating gold medallist, Kim Yuna. I've seen how hard it is to be able to do what she can do. But she made it looks so easy and beautiful even though it's really really hard. And sometimes, people only look at the outcome of her practices without seeing what she really feels or what she's been through. But still, practice makes perfect. That's why she's able to reach her dream of becoming an olympic gold medallist.

Shooting star. There's a common believe among people that if we see a shooting star (or falling star), we should make a wish and our wish will come true. So we tell the stars about our dreams, hoping it'll come true. :)

EX-01

Theme: Don't put your phone in your back pocket. It's dangerous.
10 February 2014

First of all, we had a free drawing assignments. The story behind this drawing is that I actually got my phone stolen in a mall 1 week ago, so I wanted to show a message that you have to be careful with how you put your phone. There will always be a possibility of crime whenever and wherever we go, all we can do is learn how to prevent it. If you put it in your back pocket, like in the drawing, you'll make yourself as an easy target of robbery. It's safer to put your phone deep inside you bag instead of this. So, be safe, and I hope you don't have to go through the same thing.

Greetings!
